Professional Experience

I bring over 15 years of progressive finance leadership, specializing in building and scaling FP&A functions that drive strategic decision-making and business performance. My career began in mature, public companies such as Comcast and TriNet, where I supported Sales and Marketing in well-established finance environments. This early exposure to highly structured operations provided valuable insight into the discipline and rigor required for companies with IPO ambitions.

Seeking opportunities to have a more immediate and measurable impact, I transitioned to high-growth environments. At Prezi, a late-stage startup, I optimized existing processes while broadening my scope beyond GTM finance to include product and monetization strategy. Partnering with cross-functional teams, I used data analysis and A/B testing to identify price points for price-sensitive customer segments—tripling conversion rates in targeted cohorts and meaningfully increasing ARR.

I then joined Aera Technology as the company’s first FP&A hire, building its financial model from scratch to serve as the foundation for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. My work extended into procurement and vendor negotiations, reducing AWS spend by 20% in the first year and optimizing cloud contracts to maintain favorable unit economics as consumption scaled. I also implemented recruiting and compensation frameworks aligned with budget and growth targets.

 

Most recently, as Head of FP&A at ChowNow, I led the creation of the company’s FP&A function, investor relations, board communications, business operations, and data analytics. Partnering with the CFO and executive leadership, I helped guide the company through a turnaround—achieving profitability and positive cash flow while maintaining revenue run rate. My experience spans multiple revenue models, including SaaS subscription, marketplace, and transaction-based businesses, and I have deep expertise in KPIs such as ARR,

LTV/CAC, churn, and sales productivity.
